Below you’ll find information about me, and how counselling could help you.
Psychological therapy helps you explore how the past, present, and future concerns affect you. I am not here to advise you, but to support you in exploring your difficulties, gaining an understanding of human behaviour, and assisting in any changes or decisions you may choose.
I work as an integrative counsellor, drawing on techniques from person-centred, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and solution-focused approaches. I tailor how I work based on each individual's needs.
Sessions are reviewed regularly to ensure therapy is helpful.
Each counselling session lasts 50 minutes.
I work to a high level of confidentiality in line with the BACP code of ethics. Confidentiality builds trust, encourages honesty, and supports your autonomy. It is my legal and ethical responsibility to safeguard your privacy and provide a safe, supportive environment for therapy.
I offer counselling online (via Teams, WhatsApp, etc.), by telephone, and face-to-face — both short term and long term. If you prefer another method of online therapy, please ask and I will try to accommodate.
